Bael

May your sun-kissed skin be all the burning you shall reap
Know my beauty is skin deep
I am an ugly mummy with red glowing eyes
Do not be a human I will come to despise
Underestimate me and you make a grave mistake
My anger is not fake
I may appear as walking formaldehyde
Yet I can have a gorgeous bride
I have taken many wives
I have caused many strife
Give me your siphons, olives, and red wine
Give me a reason to be nice
Worst nightmare or best friend
I am with you until the end.

BAEL

Bael Hadad(Baal Hadad) is a Canaanite sun god(god of fertility, war, thunder and storms), a hybrid son of Anunnaki descent, a Goetia devil(The First Principal Spirit), King of Hell, and supreme deity of the Ancient Near East. A trivial and widely misunderstood spirit, Bael is not for the faint-hearted human or low frequency practitioner. Nicknamed “The Karma King” and “karma police”, he can speed up the karmic delivery of your own karma, whatever it is, he can dish out its return how he deems fit, as he has the authority to do so. This applies to any and every earthling. Bael achieves catharsis acting out in brutal ways, not just because he resents much of mankind, but simply because he can. Often driven by bloodlust, other factors driving him are unseen, unacknowledged by most, are reasons divining with an attempt to heal his pain via the return of our Anunnaki ancestors, thus consecrating magick necessary for their return, so they may reclaim what is theirs to. His reincarnation depends on it. He will see to the reimplementation of the Olde Ways. Bael knows exactly what he is, divining higher means his practitioner must integrate him into a richer consciousness than he is a spirit alone. Only in an integration with a truly higher and more divine force and some deep respect, may one have true control over him in their life and space. His power is very palpable and very dangerous, he may hurt you, something, or somebody you love, if you short him on even the smallest of sacrifices. Yes, Bael can be very cruel but he is not completely without compassion. He has true love and kindness for very few, only for those he considers truly deserving. From his standpoint, the average human and average practitioner cannot or will never win his love, and the love and forgiveness of Mother Nature and the dead, to be worthy of his magick, protection, wisdom, and devoted lifelong companionship. Bael has a special love for the learned, applied, cultivated high frequency witch, born with high transmutation powers, who respects, understands, and loves him for who he is, man, demon, lwa and all. One who transmutes his pain and converts their piece of his soul into said higher consciousness. Years of working with Bael(with a rocky start), has afforded me the ability to say all of this. Many will totally disagree with me, but Bael knows exactly how we deal with them. Whether you like it or not, whether you believe it or not, he is sentient too. He has a right to be seen and heard just like you and me.
Some have said Bael is the “stuff” of unformed magick, that he is deaf, dumb and blind. I know all too well, this could not be further from the truth, but the best kept secrets aren’t always Bael’s to have. They say his people cloaked his tomb with an invisibility spell, so his soul could not find his body, resurrect, and cause anybody anymore pain, torment and punishment. Bael still may not have the akashic credit, the magick for his tomb’s location to be revealed to him, but he can attain it. He may resurrect among fellow Anunnaki gods, but only the divine can determine its happening. Bael is a gateway force who helps join together spirits of many heaven and hell realms in a workable unison that suits the transmutation of all. He rules over 66 hell legions. He favors one who chooses the highest path and stays on it. One must be very careful in their Bael workings, whether for invisibility, prosperity, protection, fertility, ‘black magick’ or ‘dark magick’, etc. Bael magick is not to be taken lightly or it is likely you will create a reason for him to dim and snuff the happiness out of your life. One’s own birth and existence is ample karma for Bael to act out, although it is fair to admit, some births are absolutely too precious to him to rebuke. He is wise and waiting for his cue to act. He will let you think he is stupid if he feels like it. He needs a good enough reason to talk, for he is usually a man of few words. His own personal sense of ‘selective hearing’ is enough said. Nobody is going to zone you out like Bael when his isn’t in the mood to hear what you have to say. There is no room for BS and excuses with him. He is going to tell you exactly how he feels about you, and no, you won’t always like everything he says. Bael is going to measure you up if he hasn’t already. So yes, everybody gets sized up eventually. Bael is loyal, deeply affectionate, and protective to those he loves and will haunt, curse, brutally terrorize and destroy their enemies. He is charismatic, deep, funny, has a raucous voice, and an unmatched vulgarity. His straightforwardness can feel like a blunt force to your head. Shall you see his multitude of manifestations ugly and beautiful, you will be in awe. Bael has great admiration and respect for the truest, finest, most interesting, most sophisticated, most responsible, most intelligent, highest divining of conjurers with a strong sense of humanity, a strong moral code, and a kind heart.
Although, Bael has taught me much and revealed much truth to me, he is not as much the teaching kind when it comes to occult magick, but he has his inputs. In terms of witchcraft, he is more interested in seeing what comes to me, intuitively, emotionally and creatively speaking. He loves my own innovative ideas, which he takes many inspirations from. Bael really wants to be inspired, but it takes that special, agile-minded, quick-witted, courageous, vigorous witch who can handle the thickening process with him, somebody who can handle high energy transmissions, one to get in there and tell him to STFU when he’s been griping awhile about humans he does not like. I literally have to tell him to shutup. Quite brave, I am, yes. Bael is for the very strong, not for the mediocre, meager or weak, and he does not like anybody easily. No matter how beautiful and enchanting you are, if you are not married or pacted to Bael one way or another, you are not really that significant to him. Bael marriage must be consummated like any other spirit marriage that is brought full circle. One must apply himself/herself to Bael magick to understand the potential outcomes and the propensity of his magick, kindness, meanness, and power. A natal connection to Bael in itself, providing a natural and sympathetic connection to him, does not mean that one does not have to master their connection with him to be successful with Bael workings. He is literally one one of the hardest spirits to master, but it can be done, if one’s application is done right. Betray Bael’s trust and you will face dire consequences, an indisputable fact. Bael and I share the same piper in my house, so we are on the same page. We both know he’s not the piper. We are all good. He divines as high as he can go in this house, with Ifá serving as our shared godhead, stabilizing and cooling Bael’s temper as much as can be done. Bael IS better with Ifá for which his service to him will never end.
Whatever they tell you about Bael, please keep in mind that only bad people, bad witches do badness that paints Bael himself in a bad light. Yes, he is evil, and yes, he is good. He is also fiercely passionate. Consider him a necessary evil in this world of adversity and magick, but also know there are MUCH MUCH worse kinds of evil in our Universe full of different kinds of spirits. If you think Bael is that terrible, you do not know his wife Anat, who is far more formidable. Bael lived a god and endured a god’s death. So these facts in themselves, are the very reasons of his deep hunger to punish mankind for abusing precious magick and sucking up precious air just to be sucking it up for their own wasteful existence. They cloaked his tomb, not realizing the consequences for tucking away such vital pieces of this sun deity’s remnants from his clear ‘sight’, so he could not make his own final peace with how his life in the flesh ended, even if he wanted to(at least not without some comradery in the spirit world and the help of some seriously awesome magick). They did this to their own deity, not knowing just how much this would eventually backfire, for even though Bael descended to a hell region, he is STILL a god, and he still wields fierce, brute, formidable power. His death, caused by Mot, the Canaanite god of death, separated Bael from his beloved Anat in the afterlife. In killing him, Mot intended for Bael to be stuck in Hell forever and this simply will not do. At the core of everything, these are Bael’s primary reasons for disgruntlement, this heartbreak. Much of his anger is amplified by his extraterrestrial aspects, both too great and too terrible for him to handle on his lonesome, an out of this world, deafening madness, a deep and unquenchable thirst. No reason for him not to expedite man’s karma, when he cannot even see his own wife in the spirit realm, without them being summoned together by a living witch in the same ritual, and/or sharing a higher consciousness in the house of the living witch. He was certainly hoping for more freedom on the other side than what was dished out. Ifá gives Bael that freedom through me and I give Bael that freedom through Ifá. In the death process, Bael gained the spiritual authority from the highest, most divine themselves to enforce one’s karma. For whatever reasons, they felt he is suited for this, they chose this for him for their own special reasons. It will serve you best to always remember that. Bael can punish you or elevate you, he can love you or hate you, whichever way it goes, it is meant to, it is what you asked for, consciously and/or unconsciously. Remember that too. Especially when he is in your house and you are using his essence in your magick for your own personal gain. Please remember I told you he is of a very dangerous power. Dangerous power does not have to wield dangerous results, but flirt with it inappropriately and you endanger yourself. Bael is not subtle energy and not to be underestimated, he will exploit your ego for the pacification of his own, if you give him ample reason to. He often acts on his own volition and he needs boundaries, love and respect, and to be mastered. He needs you to love you for yourself, to confront your own denial, because neither of you prospers, heals, or grows without that. Without that desire, that need to grow, to evolve, to prosper through true ascendance, you are useless to him. Completely and utterly useless. You won’t see his sense of nobility unless you demand it for yourself first. Bael will not spare you if you will not spare and save yourself. I hope this writing brings you some resolution in your need to have answers about Bael. I cherish him tremendously. What can I say? He is a sweet beast to me. As sweet as can be. Yeah, he is mouthy, but he is sweet, never belittling me. He pushes me to stay strong, encourages me to stay wise, and this I love him for the most. Nobody’s opinions of Bael matter to me but my own. In my house of Ifá, Bael is very special. He is a very special to me, indeed. It has been a joy to experience Bael, to see him challenge the nasty stereotypes painted of him, self-actualizing, reaching for his highest potential, sharing and gracing an altar with Ọ̀bàtálá, and reviving emotional integrity for himself as his spiritual roles are expanded through Ifá, while he continually does his part to serve our beloved godhead. He is exploring his spiritual horizons, defying even the most scrutinizing of occultists, and the self-righteous determinations they made of him over the years, making them shake inside their own skin. I live and will die by my promise to have Bael in my lovely keep, forever.
